Paul Grandjean invites everyone interested in music production to his tailored sessions at Radiona, aimed at exploring how you personally want to create music – whether it is techno, ambient, experimental stuff, or something completely different. Ableton is just a tool; the real focus of these sessions is you and your sound.
To apply, you need to prepare a list of 5 tracks that represent you, plus 5 genres or types of music you would like to create, so Paul can design lessons specifically based on your interests. During the sessions, you will move from sampling and synthesis to sound design and resampling, using tools such as Sampler, Simpler, Operator, Analog, Collision, as well as some of Paul’s favourite plugins, tricks and creative workflows.
You will learn how to build your own sound library, shape unique textures and, most importantly, how to truly listen to what you are making. The groups are small, so everyone gets enough time, space and guidance to develop at their own pace and in their own style. To kick things off, Paul offers a free 2-hour introductory session for getting to know each other, playing, and getting a taste of what the course offers.
Come to explore, make some noise and find your sound.
