CLAY ART THERAPY WORKSHOP
When the body leads, the mind can finally rest.
Clay is not obedient, neutral or empty – it responds, resists and dances with your hands. In working with clay, we gently uncover our illusions of control and perfectionism that often leave us drained, and we return to a softer inner stance: “this is good enough, just as it is”.
Through the sensory experience of touch and handwork, we support calming the mind, regulating the body and reconnecting with ourselves, focusing on the process, the bodily experience and the relationship that develops between the person and the material.
Clay art therapy is a form of art therapy that uses clay as a medium for expressing thoughts and emotions. By modelling clay, people become aware of their emotional states and gain insight into the mechanisms that trigger and maintain these emotions.
This workshop is designed for adults who want a gentle yet deep way of self-exploration through creative process rather than “just talking”. No previous art experience is needed – only the willingness to listen to your body and let your hands lead.
