📺 Analog Glitch – embracing the chaos of analog error* ⚡
As part of Glitch Cult Festival 2026, artist Andrea Capo leads Analog Glitch, an in‑person workshop at Infoshop Pippilotta in Zagreb. Here, glitch is not a plugin but a signal misbehaving: you’ll create glitch effects using CRT TVs, projectors, video gear and hacked connections, experimenting with circuit bending and live video manipulation.
đź“… Date: Saturday, April 25th, 2026
⏰ Time: 16:00
📍 Location: Infoshop Pippilotta, Zagreb, Croatia (in‑person only)
🎥 Presented by: Andrea Capo – known for analog glitch setups and CRT‑based video art
During the workshop you will:
Get an introduction to analog video basics – how CRTs, projectors and video signals react to interference and disruption
Experiment with circuit bending: physically tweaking devices, cables and signal paths to produce unexpected distortions 🛠️
Play with live video manipulation, breaking, layering and “destroying” the image in real time on screens 🌀
Learn how to record these analog glitches for later use in VJ sets, music videos, installations or performances
This workshop is great for:
VJs, video artists, performers and anyone fascinated by old screens, noise and static
Digital artists who want to understand what glitch looked like before software
Curious makers who enjoy hands‑on experimentation and seeing glitch as a physical phenomenon
