🌿 Do Plants Talk Too? – Secret Life of Plants Workshop 🌼
In this magical workshop for children aged 5 to 11, young explorers will step into a side of nature that usually stays hidden from us. They’ll discover that every plant has its own “rhythm” and “song”, and learn that nature is alive, sensitive and full of signals we can learn to “listen” to.
Together we will:
🌿 explore the secret world of plants and learn about the species growing around our building
🎧 listen to plant tones using a special device that translates plants’ electrical activity into sound – real music of the plants
🎨 make our own creations from natural materials (leaves, branches, flowers, seeds) that will later remind children of the hidden richness of the plant world
👧🧒 Workshop goals:
✨ encourage curiosity and a spirit of exploration through hands‑on learning
🌱 support eco‑awareness and respect for nature, helping kids see plants as living beings to care for
🎵 strengthen sensory perception and listening skills, from plant sounds to the soundscape around us
🤲 develop fine motor skills, creativity and teamwork through group art‑making
💚 build a deeper bond with nature through play, art and science combined
The workshop is organised by Armonia Eco&Survival – Institute for Applied Ecology, Science Outreach and Phytotherapy, known for programmes that grow empathy towards plants and awareness of living in harmony with nature.
