Children’s mental health begins with the mental health of adults. 💙
Children cannot regulate themselves alone – they “borrow” our nervous system until their own is ready. When we are constantly exhausted, overwhelmed and stressed, children feel it, even when we say nothing.
This is why supporting children’s mental health is never just about “working with the child”. It is also about learning how we handle our own emotions, recognising our limits, and allowing ourselves not to know and not to manage everything all the time. Parenting asks for a “good enough” regulated adult who knows when to pause, breathe and reconnect – first with themselves, then with their child.
At Privrži me, we create exactly this kind of safe, nurturing space for both parents and children. Through our programme, you learn about connection, co‑regulation and emotional resilience, and you can get to know it best through our Experiential Workshop – and the next one is already this Saturday! There are still spots available – sign up via the link in our bio. 🔗
