🌱 GARDENING MEET‑UP & ZMAG Seed Exchange Save the date! On Saturday, 7 March 2026, ZMAG’s traditional seed exchange will take place as part of the themed event GARDENING MEET‑UP (Vrtlarski susreti), created to connect the local gardening community. Throughout the day you’ll be able to access a wide diversity of open‑pollinated and traditional varieties, talk to experienced organic seed savers, buy eco products and join ZMAG’s Community Seed Bank. Whether you’re a beginner, an experienced gardener or still dreaming about your first balcony garden, you’re welcome – the idea is to share questions, experiences and stories from your gardens. 🕒 PROGRAMME & SCHEDULE 🌾 Seed exchange 10:00 – 14:00 – tables full of seeds of old, traditional and local varieties grown organically; bring your own seeds to swap or obtain some for a symbolic donation. 🎓 Talks & workshops 10:00 – Andreja Čoh: “World of seeds” (kids’ workshop) 11:00 – Dunja Zbiljski, ZMAG: “From seed to seed – growing, saving and storing seed” 11:00 – Marcela Velfl: workshop on growing perennials from seed 12:00 – Petra Pavleka: “Happy seedlings” 14:00 – End of programme Seed savers & organisations taking part include: Kozmički vrtlari, Biovrt – u skladu s prirodom, Croatian federation of organic producers, OPG Jagoda Turk, OPG Pereglin, Ljiljana Adamić, Mirjana Latinović and ZMAG’s Community Seed Bank. Entrance is free. If you have your own seeds, feel free to bring them for exchange.
