The Embroidered Brooch workshop is a gentle, slow Sunday gathering where needle, thread and fabric help you pause and breathe. Hand embroidery is a time‑honoured, meditative craft: the repetitive motion of each stitch calms the mind, reduces stress and anchors you in the present moment.
In a cosy circle, with a cup of tea or a favourite “ladies’ drink”, you’ll spend the afternoon with artist Nevena Živić, who will guide you through designing and stitching your own wearable embroidered brooch – a tiny piece of art you can pin to your jacket or bag. 🌸🧵
No previous embroidery skills are required. You’ll learn basic stitches, how to transfer a motif onto fabric, and how small, mindful stitches can build up into colour, texture and pattern. Embroidery has been shown to support mental well‑being, easing anxiety and bringing a sense of fulfillment when a piece is finished.
