We invite you to step into the world of sauces and silky creams that turn any dish into a fine dining experience. In a relaxed, friendly setting you’ll learn how to transform simple ingredients into elegant sauces you can easily recreate at home – no professional kitchen needed.
What you’ll learn:
🍷 Red wine and fig reduction – rich, velvety and slightly sweet
🌿🥄 Roasted celeriac and sage cream – a gentle, aromatic base perfect for veggie and meat dishes
🍲 How to cook risotto properly – all key steps for perfect texture, creaminess and flavour balance
🎯 Workshop focus
This workshop is designed for home cooks, not professionals. The goal is to give you techniques that:
look restaurant‑level but are easy to repeat at home
teach you how to balance acidity, sweetness, saltiness and fat
help you adapt one base into countless sauce variations
👉 Alongside the sauces, we’ll taste a creamy wild mushroom risotto 🍄, cooked with homemade vegetable stock and finished with figgy red wine reduction – a plate full of earthy, sweet‑tangy and velvety notes.
🥂 Winery @medeavina will make sure we toast properly, and you’ll also see how a splash of good wine can elevate any sauce.
🎁 You’ll receive a small recipe pack with sauce bases and ideas you can build on at home.

Just like you never forget how to ride a bike, you won’t forget these core sauce techniques once you learn them. You’ll understand how one base can turn into many different sauces and how to upgrade everyday meals with a few smart steps.
