Ever wondered what a stuffed flatbread from El Salvador tastes like – the famous pupusa, the country’s national dish? Join us this Tuesday for an intercultural evening with Carlos, possibly the only Salvadoran in Split, and discover El Salvador through food, music and personal stories.
🍽️ What are pupusas?
A pupusa is a thick, stuffed flatbread made from corn or rice dough, usually filled with cheese, beans or meat, and is considered the national dish of El Salvador. They are served hot with tomato sauce and a simple salad, eaten with your hands – perfect for relaxed sharing and conversation.

open to all kids and teens aged 12+
curious adults accompanying them are welcome too
registration is required so we know how much food to prepare 😋
