🌄🎨 Abstract Landscape – an evening in colour, 27 April, 18:00–20:00
On Monday 27 April from 18:00 to 20:00 at Zagrebačka 23, we’ll explore what happens when a landscape dissolves into brushstrokes, colour patches, lines and abstract forms, yet still feels like nature. This workshop lives on the edge: we’re never quite sure whether the landscape has been abstracted, or abstraction has picked up hints of landscape – and that’s exactly where creativity starts.
🖌️ What you will do
follow a guided process of painting a landscape without literally drawing trees, hills or clouds
build your image from colour strokes, blobs, lines and abstract shapes that together suggest horizon, sky, water or fields
play with the line between recognisable and abstract, seeing how little it takes for the eye to “read” landscape
focus on relaxing into colour play, experimenting and finding your own gesture and rhythm, all with a glass of wine in hand
