The beginner ceramics course starting on 8 April, 17:00–19:00 is designed as a three‑month journey through the entire ceramic process – from soft clay to a finished, functional object on your table. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to steadily learn how mugs, bowls, plates and vases are made, without rushing and without needing any special “talent”.

🧱 What you will learn – the full ceramic process
Across the course you’ll go through every key stage:
working with wet clay – basic hand‑building techniques for functional items
drying stage and recognising when a piece is ready for further work
refining in the leather‑hard/dry stage: sanding, smoothing, preparing for the first firing
colouring and glazing – engobes, simple glazes and how they influence the final look
kiln firing and what happens to clay at high temperatures
You’ll start by making a mug, then move on to bowls, plates, vases and other shapes depending on the group’s pace.
