Blackout Poetry Workshop ⚫️ – What’s hiding between the lines? Sometimes the best poems don’t start from a blank page – they’re discovered inside texts that are already around us. In this blackout poetry workshop, we’ll explore how to turn existing texts (from books, newspapers or magazines) into personal poems by picking out the words that speak to you and blacking out the rest with pens, markers and doodles. The workshop will be led by Sara Bene and @mateja_grrr and is open to all ages and all levels of experience – no previous poetry writing needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play with language. Each participant will create their own blackout poem and, for those who feel comfortable, share it with the group.
