👂💬 Lost in Translation – Active Listening Workshop at PROSTOR In everyday conversations, misunderstandings often arise in the gap between what is said and what is actually heard. The “Lost in Translation” active listening workshop focuses on that very space – on what happens between words and understanding. 📅 When & where 📅 Tuesday, 14 April ⏰ 18:00 – 21:00 📍 PROSTOR / Culture Hub Croatia, Split 💸 participation: free of charge 👥 limited capacity – registration required 🎯 What we will work on Through a short introductory talk and a series of interactive exercises, participants will: learn to distinguish active from passive listening – what changes when we truly aim to understand practise techniques such as paraphrasing, reflecting and asking open‑ended questions work individually, in pairs and in groups, using situations from personal and professional life identify common listening barriers (inner dialogue, assumptions, haste, tiredness) and explore how to overcome them The workshop is open to anyone who wants to better understand others – and themselves – in communication, whether in relationships, at work or in everyday encounters. 👩‍🏫 Facilitators Sara Korać – psychologist and CBT trainee with ten years of experience in education, human development and group facilitation Vesna Palada – computer science graduate with strong experience in soft‑skills trainings and workshops focused on understanding client needs and improving team communication Together they bring a mix of psychological insight and real‑world practice, turning concepts into tools you can use in your next conversation.
