🐣 Tradition That Connects Us – Felted Easter Egg Workshop
Dubrava Cultural Centre invites you to a traditional cultural event that celebrates Easter customs through various egg‑decorating workshops, focused on Easter eggs as a symbol of Christian Easter. Workshop leaders and guardians of intangible heritage present traditional ornamentation and old techniques from Croatian, Slovenian and Ukrainian communities.
One of the workshops is dedicated to felted Easter eggs – soft woollen eggs made using the dry‑felting technique, where wool fibres are shaped with special needles into colourful, tactile Easter decorations.

👩🎨 Felted Easter Egg Workshop
Instructor: Slavica Majić
participants will learn the basics of dry‑felting wool – using felting needles, shaping the egg form and adding coloured details
they will explore how to create dots, flowers, stripes and other motifs in wool, and how to combine colours for striking Easter designs
The workshop is part of the “Tradition That Connects Us” programme, with a focus on handcraft, preserving customs and community. All materials are provided free of charge, and the programme is held in Croatian.
