🥚 Tradition That Connects Us – Crepe‑Paper Egg‑Wrapping Workshop
Dubrava Cultural Centre invites everyone to a traditional cultural event that showcases Easter customs through various egg‑decorating workshops, focusing on Easter eggs as a symbol of Christian Easter. Workshop leaders and keepers of intangible cultural heritage present distinctive traditional ornamentation and old techniques of writing and colouring Easter eggs from Croatian, Slovenian and Ukrainian traditions.
One of the workshops focuses on wrapping eggs with crepe paper, a technique where eggs are covered and decorated with colourful strips and pieces of crepe paper, creating a rich, textured surface and playful patterns.
