🥚 Tradition That Connects Us – Slovenian Pisanice Workshop
Dubrava Cultural Centre invites everyone to a traditional cultural event that presents Easter customs through various egg‑decorating workshops, highlighting Easter eggs as a symbol of Christian Easter. Workshop leaders and guardians of intangible heritage demonstrate distinct traditional ornamentation and old egg‑decorating techniques from Croatian, Slovenian and Ukrainian traditions.
One of the workshops focuses on Slovenian pisanice – Easter eggs decorated with characteristic Slovenian motifs, colours and techniques. Participants will get to know the specific patterns, symbols and designs that make Slovenian Easter eggs unique.
