What we cover 🎼
Over three days we will explore:
🎧 Music as a tool for emotional and bodily regulation – how rhythm, tempo and dynamics influence arousal, breathing and feelings of safety
👥 Group‑based music therapy techniques – shared music‑making, rhythm games, simple vocal work and receptive listening that support communication, social skills and connection
🧠 Core concepts of music therapy – what distinguishes music therapy from simply using music, key approaches and ethical considerations
🌊 Your own process – experiential exercises to notice your emotional and bodily responses to music, with time to integrate and reflect
