Outward Bound is a truly authentic adventure. For five days you’ll be fully immersed in nature, away from screens and daily routines, discovering mountains, forests and your own strengths along the way. ⛰️🔥
On this expedition programme in Lika you’ll try exciting outdoor activities (hiking, caving, camping, map & compass navigation), meet peers from all over Croatia and experience what it’s like when the outdoors becomes your classroom.
The programme runs as a digital detox – no phones, no devices – so that you can be fully present in the moment, focused on nature, your group and the challenges in front of you. Instead of notifications, you’ll be listening to wind, birds and your own footsteps. 📵🌲
👉 Who it’s for: young people aged 10–17 from Croatia and Croatian‑speaking participants from abroad (grouped into younger and older groups).
👉 How to apply: fill in the online application form (organiser’s link).
What you’ll learn & take home 🎒
The programme is designed to move you out of your comfort zone and into meaningful challenges – in a safe, structured way. Outward Bound is more than “just fun”; it’s a chance to:
get to know yourself through real‑life experiences
build confidence, independence and resilience
practise decision‑making, communication, problem‑solving and teamwork
discover that “I can do more than I thought” is a feeling you earn by doing
