Making ceramic figurines

🐾✨ Ceramic Figurines Workshop with Agata Lučić ✨🐾 At Atelje na br.1 we’re launching a new ceramic figurines workshop led by Agata Lučić, an illustrator and visual artist known for her playful characters, murals and ceramic objects. This workshop is for everyone who wants to explore ceramics in a more playful, less “grown‑up” way, with room for humour, colour and experimentation. 👩‍🎨 About the tutor – Agata Lučić Agata graduated from the Printmaking Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2020 and works across illustration, murals, workshops and exhibitions. She started working with ceramics out of curiosity, and in 2025 she presented a series of ceramic objects, sculptures and tiles at her solo exhibition “Susreti” (Encounters) at Studio‑gallery Klet. 📆 Schedule & duration 📅 start date: 10 April 2026 🕒 duration: 4 weeks, once a week, 2 full hours per session 📍 Fridays, 17:30 – 19:30, same time every week ⚠️ limited spots – registration and reservation required 🎨 What you will do develop your own characters and tiny scenes through quick sketches and playful exploration hand‑build ceramic figurines – creatures, people, animals, plants, hybrid oddballs… go through all main stages of working with clay: shaping, drying, firing, colouring and glazing experiment with textures, colours and drawing on ceramic surfaces, echoing Agata’s “Susreti” works The focus is on imagination and personal storytelling in clay, not on perfection – ideal if you want your ceramics to feel like illustrated characters brought into 3D.
