In a relaxed studio setting, with step‑by‑step guidance, you’ll experience the full journey from raw clay to finished, usable pottery. 👐 What you will do learn basic hand‑building techniques using slabs and simple joins shape the base and matching lid, adjusting them so they fit together nicely add textures and decorations (imprints, carved lines, patterns) to make the piece your own prepare it for drying, bisque firing and glazing in chosen colours After the class, your butter dish is dried, fired and glazed, and you later pick it up as a durable, food‑safe piece. 💶 Price & what’s included the fee (set by the organiser) usually covers: all clay and materials use of tools and instructor support firing and glazing of your butter dish and often a drink to help you relax during the session no previous experience or special talent required – perfect for beginners limited capacity, so advance booking is needed
