👩🏫 About the facilitator – Marija Curić
Marija Curić is a graduate conservator–restorer and a passionate admirer of old objects, their stories and the traces of time they carry. She is particularly drawn to exploring materials and techniques, and even more to sharing her knowledge and experience with others. Marija has worked on protected cultural heritage, yet she believes that the everyday objects in our homes also deserve careful attention and thoughtful renewal.
She advocates for repair, preservation and mindful restoration as an alternative to quickly giving up and buying new, often lower‑quality items – a philosophy at the heart of this workshop.
