What you do

🧩 Full‑day workshop for parents: Violence, conflict & peer dynamics Peer violence among children and teens is rarely an “isolated incident” – it is usually part of a wider story about safety, belonging, boundaries and emotional regulation. Parents often feel torn between the urge to protect their child immediately and the fear of making things worse: when to step in, how much to involve the school, how to talk to their child, and what to do when their child is the target, the aggressor or “just” a bystander. This full‑day workshop is for parents who want a deeper understanding of children’s behaviour in peer relationships, to learn how to set clear protective boundaries, support emotional regulation and empower their child to face conflicts and peer challenges without losing connection and trust. The programme is grounded in developmental psychology, attachment theory and an integrative parenting approach. Key topics: What a child’s behaviour is trying to say: aggression, withdrawal, provocation, “roughness”, mocking – and the needs beneath it. The line between conflict and violence: when we are dealing with normal developmental disputes, and when with a harmful pattern that needs firm intervention. Roles in peer violence: the child who suffers, the child who hurts others, and bystanders – how a parent can respond to each without panic but with clarity. Emotional regulation & impulsivity: why some children explode, how to teach calming and responsibility, and how parents stay firm without escalating. Protective parental boundaries: what is acceptable and what is not; how to set consequences that are clear and behaviour‑linked (no shaming or threats). Equipping children for peer challenges: phrases to use, asking for help, assessing risk, exiting conflict and building self‑confidence. Working with school & other adults: how to talk to teachers, school counsellors and other parents while staying solution‑focused. The workshop combines theoretical frameworks, practical examples and work on real situations brought by parents. The aim is to give you a “map”: what to observe, which questions to ask, what to say to your child, which boundaries to set and what your next step is when a problem appears. It is designed for parents of school‑age children and teenagers who want more clarity, confidence and concrete tools when dealing with peer violence and conflict, and who want to strengthen their child without damaging the relationship.
