👣 FIRST MOVES – STANDING, WALKING, EXPLORING 🌍
Facilitator: Matea Vitik
Price: 40 €
All workshops are held in small, intimate groups of 8–10 parents and babies, so Matea can personally attend to each family, offer support and create a space where every emotion, every cry and every smile is welcome.
👶 For babies 9–12 months and their parents
As your baby approaches their first birthday, the world expands rapidly. From pulling up and standing with support, to cruising along furniture and taking first independent steps – each movement is a new step towards freedom, balance and confidence, while still deeply rooted in your presence and support. This workshop is devoted to that magical phase where your baby wants to do “all by myself” but still looks for your eyes, voice and hands in every step.
✨ What we do in the workshop
Through play, movement and shared exploration you will learn how to:
encourage pulling up, standing and walking with support, and gently support those first independent steps 👣
strengthen feet, legs and core through natural movement patterns – climbing, pushing, pulling and balancing,
build your baby’s sense of stability, trust and self‑confidence in new positions and heights,
support communication, attention and imitation through play and interaction with you,
talk about changes in feeding, sleeping and daily routines that come with growing independence,
nurture curiosity, exploration and emotional safety through movement, touch and closeness.
Parents learn how to use everyday activities, play and observation to gently guide their baby, giving them room to explore – without rushing or forcing, and with trust in their natural rhythm.
👨👩👧 Who is it for?
For parents and babies between 9 and 12 months – whether your baby is just starting to pull up, stand with support, or already taking first steps. Workshops are held in a safe, supportive environment where all stages, rhythms and baby needs are welcome.
