Tarts are made with shortcrust pastry and can be filled with a variety of sweet or savoury fillings, making them perfect both as a main dish and as dessert. In this workshop, you will get to know three types of shortcrust pastry – pâte sablée, pâte sucrée and pâte brisée – and learn when to use each one depending on the filling.
You will prepare a classic Quiche Lorraine and an elegant lemon tart, and everything you make will be enjoyed in the cozy atmosphere of the Academy. The workshop price (70 €) includes small‑group work with guidance from experienced, award‑winning pastry chefs, all ingredients, materials and professional equipment, drinks during the workshop and detailed recipes. Places are limited to ensure an individual approach to each participant, and the program may be slightly adjusted depending on the availability of fresh ingredients and the chef’s creative inspiration.
