✨ Weekend Creative Sewing Course for Kids – 7 Hours of Making ✨
We invite you to a weekend creative sewing course for kids in a small, friendly group – perfect for children who love crafts or want to try something new. Throughout the course, each child makes their own pillowcase, learning the basics of sewing, pattern cutting and using a sewing machine, and takes the finished piece home.
✂️ What will they do?
make a pillowcase from start to finish
learn the basics of operating a sewing machine (threading, straight seams, safety)
practice measuring, marking and cutting fabric
choose colours and fabrics, so every pillowcase is unique
📅 Schedule (weekend course):
🗓️ starting from 11 April (new term)
🕕 Saturdays 10:00 – 11:30 (4 sessions) + one Sunday 10:00 – 11:00
➡️ 5 sessions in total / 7 hours of teaching
👧🧒 Group size & age:
max 3 children per group – truly individual approach
programme designed for kids from 7 to 18 years (minimum 6+, ideally 7+)
🧶 Materials & equipment:
✔️ all materials are included in the price
✔️ sewing machines and tools are provided
✔️ children take home everything they sew
🎯 Who is it for?
The course is beginner‑friendly – no prior experience is required. With such a small group, each child can work at their own pace, with continuous support from the instructor. The tempo is slow and child‑friendly, with plenty of guidance and repetition when needed.
📍 Location:
New Zagreb – Remetinec, near Arena Zagreb.
👩🏫 What is the course like?
The course runs twice a week for one hour (in this weekend format spread across Saturdays and one Sunday), for a total of 7 hours. Led by an experienced instructor, every child gets individual attention, space to try, make mistakes and learn. The programme is designed so that each child finishes the course with their own handmade pillowcase.
