The Natural Soap Making Course is designed for anyone who wants to truly understand how soap is made and how to create it from scratch using plant oils, sodium hydroxide and natural additives. Participants learn what saponification is, why soap is made with lye but no longer contains it after curing, and how to choose ingredients for different skin types.
The course begins with an introduction to soap and the saponification process, followed by an overview of key raw materials: plant oils, lye, colorants, fragrances and other additives. Practical tips and tried-and-tested formulas are shared for different skin needs. In the hands-on part, each participant makes several types of solid soaps: a simple hand soap, a baby soap with beeswax, a cleansing soap with tea tree and rosemary, an exfoliating bar with butters and ground coffee, a white clay soap and a colourful “chef’s kitchen” soap with multiple colors.
The workshop is a one-day event (5 full hours), and every participant takes home all the soaps they make. Each person also receives a printed manual with theory and recipes from the course, plus 7 additional formulas, as well as video materials “How to Make Soap Step by Step” (transferred to their own USB). After the course, participants can book online consultations with the instructor for extra guidance as they continue making soap at home.
