ART LAB – illustration and character design course! 🎨

NEW for all creatives 12+! ✨ Do you love drawing, inventing characters and dreaming about developing your own style and finishing a polished illustration? Welcome to our ART LAB – illustration and character design course! 🎨 This course runs for 3 months (at least 10 sessions) starting on 9 February. You’ll work in a small, supportive group and move step by step from warm-up drawing exercises to your own final illustration. The price is 60 EUR as a one-time payment or 20 EUR per month, making it accessible to anyone who wants to take drawing more seriously while keeping it fun. The workshops are led by Vana Božić, MA in art education and fine arts, who guides participants through the process like in a real illustration studio. 🖍 What we cover in the course: Introduction to drawing and the project (drawing exercises) Introduction to illustration Basics of character design Facial expressions and body language Costume, details and color symbolism Sketch and preparation for the final card / final artwork 🌟 Course goals: Learn the basics of drawing and illustration Understand the fundamentals of character design Develop creative thinking and visual storytelling Learn the full process: research → idea → sketch → final illustration Build independence and confidence in your own style 🎁 Bonus at the end: Participants will have the chance to print their own stickers featuring the characters they designed and illustrated themselves – a mini portfolio for notebooks, laptops or gifts. 😍✨ This is perfect for anyone who wants to level up their drawing in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. 💥 The activity is organised as part of the project “Atoms of Imagination”, co-funded by the Kultura Nova Foundation.
