The focus is on an everyday situation that all parents know very well – going to the store and choosing food.
🛒 “Smart Little Shoppers – Choosing Food Together” is designed as a fun and interactive workshop where children, through play, grocery store role-play and real-life examples, learn how to navigate the aisles, recognize better options and understand why not every colorful package is the best choice. In a relaxed atmosphere, we talk about what is “food for growth” and what is more of a “sweet treat”, how to listen to their body and its needs, and how to set boundaries without tears, shouting or tugging around the shopping cart.
Through guided games, conversations and practical tasks, children learn to choose food with their heads and not just with their eyes – without pressure, shame or the feeling that something is “forbidden”, but through understanding and cooperation. For parents, this workshop brings concrete tools and phrases they can use in real-life shopping situations, so that grocery trips become calmer, shorter and more pleasant for everyone.
👧🧒 Recommended for children from 2.5 years onwards, accompanied by an adult who actively participates in the workshop.
Each child receives a fun certificate of knowledge and a professional photo as a keepsake, while parents go home with a few very practical “tricks” for more peaceful shopping and fewer meltdowns in front of the sweets shelf. The workshop is conceived as a safe space for questions, sharing experiences and laughter, where children learn about responsible food choices in a way that feels close to them – playful, engaging and age-appropriate.
