What you do

šŸ“ø PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP / COURSE Dates: 3 March – 24 March 2026 Days & time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Address: Ul. Konstantina Vojnovića 19, 10000 Zagreb Maximum number of participants: 15 (with smaller practice groups) Organised by: FrameForm in cooperation with the City of Zagreb Lecturer: Almmir Fakić, mag.art., academic film and TV cinematographer Fee: 195.00 € This one‑month photography workshop is designed as the most comprehensive and most affordable beginner-friendly photography programme in Zagreb, aimed at complete beginners who want to truly understand how good photographs are made. Over four weeks, you will be guided in an engaging and relaxed way through the history of photography, introduced to camera gear (camera bodies, lenses, continuous and flash lighting), and learn essential concepts such as the exposure triangle, framing and composition, and depth of field – always with a focus on real-world use. A strong emphasis is placed on hands-on practice, both on location and in the studio: documentary, portrait, fashion, product and food photography. After shooting, you will learn the basics of post-production in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, completing the entire workflow from capture to final image. An additional full-day outdoor shooting session (fashion, portrait, landscape) will be scheduled flexibly depending on the weather and participants’ availability to ensure great lighting conditions. You do not need to own professional or semi-professional equipment to follow the course successfully, but we strongly recommend having a digital camera with one or more interchangeable lenses, so you can fully benefit from the practical part. At the end of the course, participants receive an official certificate of attendance. Due to traditionally high interest and a limited number of spots, applications must include a short motivation letter explaining why you are the ideal candidate for this programme.
