Sponge cake rolls filled with creams or jams are a timeless dessert classic that never goes out of style. In this workshop, you will learn how to bake, roll and fill cake rolls with confidence, so they stay soft, flexible and neatly shaped.
You will make three different rolls: a vanilla–strawberry roll, a Black Forest roll and a rich chocolate roll, giving you a variety of flavours and techniques in one class. The workshop price (70 €) includes small‑group work with guidance from experienced, award‑winning pastry chefs, all ingredients, materials and professional equipment, drinks during the workshop, detailed recipes and tasting of all desserts in the cozy atmosphere of the Academy. Places are limited to ensure an individual approach to each participant, and the program may be slightly adjusted depending on the availability of fresh ingredients and the chef’s creative inspiration.
